Forest Green Rovers Reserves again entertained a small crowd against a youthful AFC Bournmouth team well marshall
by ex-Bristol City player Rob Newman, Currently the clubs assistant Manager.
Rovers first goal came in the 25th minute from the penalty spot, after George Webb handled a cross from
Paul Stonehouse. Danny Carey-Bertram made no mistake with the spot-kick.
Alex Lawless added a second 2 minutes before the break, picking the ball up from 20 yards and lashing a low
shot past the motionless keeper Gareth Stewart.
Shortwood striker James Singh was given a 30 minute run out and a neat run and cross from the right flank
gave Carey-Bertram an easy tap in on 77 mins.
